Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Confer.
1. Scope
These terms of service apply to all agreements between [Operator] (“we”, “us”) and users (“you”) regarding the Confer services.
2. The service
Confer transcribes meetings and generates summaries, decisions and action items from them. The results are generated automatically and come with no guarantee of accuracy or completeness. They do not replace legally binding documentation.
3. Formation of contract
A contract is formed when you select a plan and complete the checkout. For paid plans, you receive a cost summary before you confirm.
4. Prices and payment
The prices displayed at the time of ordering apply. All prices are stated [including statutory VAT]. Payment is handled through the payment providers we offer.
5. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. For digital content and services, that right may expire early if performance begins with your express consent before the withdrawal period ends. [Add the full withdrawal policy for your jurisdiction.]
6. Your obligations
You confirm that you only upload recordings and files you are entitled to use, and that you do not infringe the rights of others. In particular, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required from the people in the conversation. Misuse of the service is prohibited.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise we are liable only for breaches of material contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. We accept no liability for decisions you make on the basis of automatically generated results.
8. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
